I'm Akshit, Sports Secretary

Akshit's journey is a testament to the transformative power of sports and the resilience of the human spirit. His story begins with an early interest in athletics, a spark that ignited brightly when he had the remarkable opportunity to practice Kabaddi alongside state-level players at the young age of 15. This initial exposure to high-level competition laid a crucial foundation for his future athletic pursuits.

A significant chapter in Akshit's life unfolded when he moved to a hostel in Haryana. This new environment provided him with increased exposure to various sports, and it was there that he discovered a passion for football. He joined a local football club and quickly developed his skills, demonstrating a natural talent and dedication to the game. His progress culminated in his participation in the CBSE games football championship. However, fate dealt him a cruel blow when he suffered an injury just a day before the highly anticipated championship. This setback, though disheartening, did not extinguish his love for sports.

Akshit's academic journey led him to change hostels, but unfortunately, his experience at the new institution was far from ideal in terms of sports opportunities. The environment lacked the vibrant athletic culture he had previously enjoyed, leading to a lull in his active involvement in sports.

However, a new chapter began when Akshit took admission in Blooming Kids Convent School. It was here that he witnessed a plethora of opportunities related to sports, rekindling the dormant flame of his athletic interests. Observing the vibrant sports culture and the numerous avenues for participation, Akshit felt his old passion resurface with renewed vigor. This resurgence of interest and his inherent leadership qualities led to his current role: serving his school as the sports secretary.

In this capacity, Akshit has the opportunity to contribute to the very environment that reignited his passion. He can now play a vital role in promoting sports within the school, encouraging participation, and fostering a positive athletic culture for his peers. His personal journey, marked by early exposure, the thrill of competition, the disappointment of injury, and the eventual rediscovery of his passion, provides him with a unique perspective and understanding of the importance of sports in a young person's life.
